I have noticed that there are two ways of placing bacekercoat. One of them is to play few layers using thick mix. The second one is to pour liquid mix (SCC) I find the second method easier but I am wondering if the quality of a ready product is the same as in using the first one?

There are many variables involved but generally yes an SCC type backer produces a good backer.  The important thing is to pour in small lifts.  This will keep the fiber alignment with the tensile forces.  Basically the risk with SCC type backer is the fiber standing up providing virtually no strength gain and a waist of fiber.
