I want to make a polished white countertop with black speckles, so I was thinking I could use coarse Black Magic as an aggregate (it has particle sizes ranging from 1/16 to 1/8 inch), with maybe some finer coal slag (aka, black sand) to add some more grain detail. Has anyone ever used coal slag in their mix and/or can you think of any reason why this would be a bad idea?
