The idea is that a clear relation exists between human behavior and the forms it requires. We look for and specify the observed needs or tendencies of the users of an environment, and state these tendencies to generate a spatial form. The environment, seen this way, is not an object but a field of action, in which people can meet their own needs.

Aristotelian: art (design) imitates nature in her mode of operation. Man, like nature and , potentially, as part of nature, channels forces to create forms. The forms then are not inert, but manifestations of equilibrium.

Jim,  Man you are a "picker".  A Canondale for $25 is unheard of, nice find. I got a Specialized Tarmac (carbon) road bike. Was actually a perk from a 2 year job I did for some friends that lost their house in the Big Sur forest fires. Otherwise, I would be still riding a steel bike. You get a chance to ride much?

Hey Jim!  Just a shout to say howdy.  Hope things are going well for you.  Working on another heated tub.  Sorry I missed you when you came to Seattle a while back (I think you were there?).  Seems like those things never hit when I have the time to spare.  Take care, man.
