Started this discussion. Last reply by John Jan 31, 2013. 5 Replies

I have been asked many times how ICT holds up to heat.  I have talked many times about how using a roofing torch is a great way to "heat set" or "speed set" the sealers.  Using this technique is one…Continue

Hey Jon, not sure if you remember, but last year I asked you if your ever thought about putting on a class. Have you put anymore thought into it? I know you can do some amazing stuff with your concrete and I would love to learn some of your methods and advance my skills.

Jon, can you use Enrich-n-Seal or Miracle 511 in combination with First Sealz? Would it be ok to use one of these sealer first then start the ICT process (Miracle/CH/FS)? I really like the color enhance I get from these sealers.

Thanks much, JB

total dry weight, the 4000's are pretty sick at high loads, i got more detailed back in the post. one quick one for you, i dont know if you work for blue but i need to get a sealer that works for me and ict is next on the list to test. my concrete is around 8000 to 9000psi with no pozz being used right now, coverd well with plastic and heated to 100 to 120deg depending on garage temp for 36hrs. will ict work for me, i could use a pozz again and cure longer if that would help. i just don't want to waste another month testing another sealer only to find out i need e+ or anything else added to my mix to make it work. i would rather not use e+ as it may interfere with my sys 1 admix, i am trying ict and nano seal next, but if you see a red flag for ict i would appreciate a heads up.
thanks alot. and thanks for your posts on both forums, you, mark, alla, tom, and many more helped me wrap my head around the beautiful world of mix design.
